When I was little I had an imaginary friend, a red dragon. He became a character long ago named Thayn. For a while now he's been on my mind and I thought it was time to draw him again. He's changed, like me. Now all that's left is to name him...

This turned out to be far more detailed than I expected, but I love every bit of it. Even when I was drawing the tedious scales and putting gold on them, I felt good. This piece is one of the first that I've felt connected to in a looong time. Also, I don't like drawing feets. >:l
